近日,《美国国家科学院院刊》 (Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences,IF=11.205)在线发表了我院张辉教授团队与宁波工程学院、乌克兰外籍院士杨为佑团队合作研究论文“Robust High-temperature Potassium-Ion Batteries Enabled by Carboxyl Functional Group Energy Storage”。
与主流锂离子电池(LIBs)相比,钾离子电池(PIBs)因其资源储量更丰(K+ vs. Li+:2.09 vs. 0.0017 wt%)、成本低廉和更低的电极电位(K+ vs. Li+:-2.93 vs.-2.71 V),有望替代锂离子电池成为潜在的下一代大规模储能系统。然而,较大的钾离子半径(K+ vs. Li+:1.38 vs. 0.76Å)所带来的缓慢反应动力学,根本性限制了其循环稳定性。
