博士期间主要研究二亚胺配体支持的铝配合物的合成、表征及其性能，在Organometallics、Dalton Transactions等国际杂志发表SCI收录论文5篇。目前从事无机-有机杂化智能变色材料的相关研究，主持一项山西省应用基础研究项目（面上青年基金项目，201601D202025），在Dyes and Pigments、RSC Advances期刊上发表SCI论文3篇，主讲化学工程基础、化工原理、化工环保概论等课程。
