个人基本情况简介：
    张永平，男，河北邯郸人，博士，教授，硕士生导师。2000年6月北京科技大学材料物理与化学专业毕业，获工学博士学位， 先后在中国科学院物理研究所真空物理实验室和新加坡国立大学化学系表面化学实验室做博士后。 07/2004 – 06/2006获新加坡千禧年基金(Singapore Millennium Foundation Scholarship)博士后奖学金资助，07/2006 – 02/2012 任新加坡国立大学化学系研究员。2012年3月起任西南大学材料科学与工程学院特聘教授。主要从事表面物理化学、纳米材料制备和纳米催化方面的研究。利用扫描隧道显微镜（STM），X-射线光电子能谱（XPS，UPS），和高分辨电子能量损失谱（HREELS）研究表面分子吸附和反应，金属纳米团簇生长及其催化机理的研究。在Journal of physical chemistry C, Journal of Chemical Physics, Physical Review B, Applied Physics Letters, Langmuir等国际期刊上发表SCI论文40多篇。
