男,南京工业大学化工学院教授,材料化学工程国家重点实验室常务副主任,“973”首席科学家,教育部创新团队负责人。主持973计划、国家自然科学基金重大项目等10余项科研项目,在Nature、Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.、Adv. Mater.、Chem. Soc. Rev.、AIChE J.、J. Membr. Sci.等在化工、材料等领域知名期刊上发表SCI论文250多篇,被引用9000多次;2014年至2017年连续4年入选爱思唯尔(Elsevier)中国高被引学者“化学工程”领域榜单;以第一完成人获授权发明专利24件,出版学术专著2部;担任膜邻域权威期刊J. Membr. Sci.的Editor,是Chin. J. Chem. Eng.、Asia-Pacific J. Chem. Eng.、《无机材料学报》、《过程工程学报》、《膜科学与技术》等期刊编委;2014年任膜领域最具影响力的“国际膜与膜过程会议ICOM2014”大会主席;亚太膜学会(AMS)常务理事。
