王建平,男,2006年入选中国科学院 "百人计划",中国科学院化学研究所分子反应动力学国家重点实验室研究员,博士生导师。在飞秒激光光谱尤其是红外激光光谱技术领域工作多年。近年来致力于飞秒二维红外光谱学的发展及其在生物、化学和物理体系中的应用研究。回国工作以来,建立了一个量子多维红外光谱实验室,拥有一维稳态红外和飞秒二维光谱实验等手段,并拥有进行量子化学计算以及分子动力学模拟的中等规模计算设备。

研究领域
量子多维红外(QMDIR)光谱实验室拥有与凝聚相化学、物理和生物学等领域密切相关的飞秒二维红外(2D IR)光谱手段。2D IR光谱具有以飞秒时间分辨率在化学键水平上跟踪分子动态结构的能力。近来的2D IR实验和理论研究表明,许多非谐性振动参数对分子结构和动力学都很敏感。利用2D IR光谱技术,我们可以研究成对化学基团之间的相对方位及距离,用于跟踪凝聚相中分子的结构变迁。所得结果将有助于我们认识分子超快结构动力学、化学反应、蛋白质折叠和聚集等过程。课题组的远期目标是在其它波段建立多维光谱技术,如近红外、可见、紫外和X-射线等波段。
我们课题组的研究还包括利用量子化学计算和(从头算或经典力学)分子动力学模拟方法来预测非谐性振动参数,用于二维维红外光谱的计算和模拟,将飞秒二维红外光谱和分子的平衡态、动态结构联系起来,从而在超快时间尺度上实时跟踪凝聚相复杂分子的结构变化。
