董金勇,男,1970年10月出生,河北省抚宁县人,中国科学院化学研究所研究员,博士生导师,中国科学院工程塑料重点实验室副主任。2002年入选中国科学院“百人计划”,2006年院“百人计划”终期评估获“优秀”(20/130),2008年获第五届“柳大纲优秀青年科技奖”和第二届冯新德高分子奖(最佳论文提名),2009年获北京市科学技术奖一等奖(个人排名第二)。目前任化学所分子科学中心学术委员会委员,同时兼职大连理工大学、河北工业大学和燕山大学教授。主持和作为研究骨干参加过国家科技部973项目和863重点项目、国家基金委重点和面上基金项目、中国科学院方向性创新重大及重点项目以及中国石油天然气股份有限公司重点科技开发项目等。

随着新型工业化、信息化、城镇化和农业现代化的深入推进和居民消费结构的不断升级,聚烯烃材料面临巨大的发展空间和机遇。然而,我国聚烯烃产业长期存在产品结构性矛盾问题,产品集中于中低端通用料,高端产品则严重依赖进口,因此对聚烯烃高性能化的创新研究需求非常迫切。
        中国科学院化学研究所董金勇课题组长期致力于聚烯烃高性能化的基础研究。该课题组近年来发展了系列长链支化聚烯烃的配位聚合合成方法,通过设计新型功能分子,辅助Ziegler-Natta和茂金属催化剂催化烯烃配位聚合反应,在链结构基本为线性的聚烯烃(聚丙烯、聚乙烯及乙烯丙烯共聚物等)中引入“痕量”长链支化结构,从而通过增强聚合物链间物理缠结有效提高聚烯烃的本体粘弹性和加工熔体粘弹性,使包括高熔体强度聚丙烯和聚丙烯热塑性弹性体在内的若干高性能聚烯烃在制备和应用中长期存在的关键问题得到有效解决。
        本文报道基于Ziegler-Natta催化剂,利用ω-烯烃基甲基二氯硅烷功能分子辅助乙烯聚合制备长链支化高密度聚乙烯的研究工作。在以往研究中,长链支化高密度聚乙烯的制备主要依赖于茂金属催化剂、后过渡金属催化剂或由其组成的多催化剂体系,而基于Ziegler-Natta催化剂制备长链支化聚乙烯则鲜有报道。Ziegler-Natta催化剂所制备的聚乙烯中因不具有长链支化结构,导致其在很多领域的加工应用受到限制。如何在Ziegler-Natta催化剂的聚乙烯中有效引入长链支化结构,是烯烃聚合研究的长期挑战之一。本文以5-己烯基甲基二氯硅烷作为长链支化助剂,首先在Ziegler-Natta催化剂催化的乙烯聚合中实现其与乙烯共聚,在聚乙烯分子链侧基上引入反应性二氯硅烷基团;聚合反应结束后通过对聚合物进行水处理,使近邻聚合物链上的二氯硅烷基团发生水解缩合反应,获得H型长链支化结构。通过ω-烯烃基甲基二氯硅烷辅助乙烯聚合-水解化学,首次实现了以Ziegler-Natta催化剂制备长链支化高密度聚乙烯(LCB-HDPE),长链支化密度可达0.15/1000 C,而催化剂效率基本不受影响。与线性HDPE相比,LCB-HDPE的熔体弹性增大,零切粘度提高,熔体强度提高,拉伸流动中应变强化效果明显。同时,LCB-HDPE进一步增强了HDPE的高结晶性能,其熔点和结晶温度与线性HDPE相当,而结晶度有较大幅度提高。目前,聚乙烯发泡塑料主要由LDPE制备,但LDPE结晶度低,结晶速度慢,因此只能以丁烷、戊烷等烷烃为发泡剂,不但生产危险度极高,而且环境污染严重。新型LCB-HDPE同时具有高熔体强度和高结晶性能,将有望以CO2或氮气等惰性气体为发泡剂,取代LDPE在发泡塑料领域的应用,使发泡塑料行业彻底实现绿色化转型。
