教育与研究经历
1979-1983年在杭州大学化学系学习,获学士学位。1983-1988年在中科院上海有机化学研究所学习,从事有机化学专业方面的研究工作,获得理学硕士及理学博士学位。
1988年底至今一直在华中科技大学化学系工作。期间1990-1992年在日本筑波大学化学系做博士后研究。1998-2002年以日本通产省特别研究员身份在日本工业技术院名古屋工业研究所做访问研究。

教学情况
在华中科技大学化学系工作期间,先后承担了本科生的《有机化学》、《有机化学实验》、《有机合成》和《有机波谱学》等课程的教学;以及研究生的《高等有机化学》和《有机化学前沿》等课程的教学。湖北省精品课程《有机化学》负责人。
