马小杰于兰州大学化学与化工学院取得本科与硕士学位，中科院化学研究所获得博士学位，2016年12月就职于北京理工大学化学与化工学院。已发表近十余篇SCI收录论文，其中包括Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.，Adv. Mater.，Chem. Chem.等杂志。现主要从事多孔材料的光催化性能研究工作。
