王建浦教授在英国剑桥大学卡文迪许实验室获博士学位(2009年),并从事博士后研究;曾在三星电子韩国总部从事有机LED显示技术研发;2013年回国加盟南京工业大学先进材料研究院,目前担任常务副院长。在有机及钙钛矿光电器件研究中有长期积累,对其中的若干重要问题进行了深入研究,为国际上钙钛矿LED研究的开拓者之一,并多次创造其效率记录。发明了有机LED的显示像素设计专利,大幅度提高了有机LED显示面板的寿命,专利得到大规模商业化应用。研究成果发表于Nature、Nature Photonics、Nature Communications、Physical Review Letters、Advanced Materials 等学术期刊,入选了2016年度“中国高等学校十大科技进展”。参与创办并担任自然出版集团旗下学术期刊npj Flexible Electronics副主编(Deputy Editor)。目前主持国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金、江苏省杰出青年基金等项目。
