1.与神经退行性疾病如老年痴呆症、帕金森症, 亨廷顿氏病相关的蛋白质的错误折叠,异常积聚,和淀粉样化的分子机理研究。
2.基于重要生物靶点分子结构的小分子药物先导物的设计,筛选和优化。主要针对老年痴呆症和帕金森症相关的致病蛋白多聚体及淀粉样纤维的分子结构,进行小分子及多肽化合物的合理设计,筛选,及基于此先导物的机理和功能研究。
3.基于淀粉样多肽的具有新功能的新材料设计,开发和应用。
