· 稀土发光材料的VUV光谱及PDP发光材料;
· 微纳结构稀土发光材料的CL光谱及FED发光材料;
· 用于医学和高能物理检测的稀土闪烁材料。

结合不同应用目的并利用国内外合作,主要开展稀土发光材料的结构-发光性质相关应用基础研究;
作为负责人先后承担国家自然科学基金、973计划子项目、广东省科技计划项目、广东省自然科学基金、广州市科技计划项目等项目的研究工作。
