房喻陕西师范大学教授。1956年9月生,陕西省西安市人,英国Lancaster大学高分子物理化学专业哲学博士。中国化学会常务理事,陕西省化学会名誉理事长,中国化学会国际事务委员会、应用化学专业委员会副主任,Langmuir顾问编委,Carbohydrate Polymers、《物理化学学报》、《影像科学与光化学》等编委。兼任国家教材委员会委员,国家基础教育专家工作委员会副主任,教育部高等学校化学类专业教学指导委员会副主任,国家高中化学课程标准修订组组长,西北大学合成与天然功能分子化学和陕西师范大学应用表面与胶体化学两个教育部重点实验室学术委员会副主任,西北工业大学高分子物理与化学和宝鸡文理学院植物化学两个陕西省重点实验室学术委员会主任,江南石墨烯研究院学委会委员。先后获得全国优秀教师、五一劳动奖章、全国先进工作者和国家级教学名师等称号。

       房喻教授长期从事荧光敏感薄膜材料和分子凝胶研究工作,先后主持863目标导向、重大科学仪器专项、国防973课题等项目30余项,在JACS、Adv. Mater.、Chem. Soc. Rev.等刊物发表论文200余篇,获授权发明专利28项。作为主持人先后获得陕西省科技成果一等奖2项,二等奖1项。学生1人获全国百篇优博论文奖,4人获陕西省优博论文奖,1人入选中组部青年##计划,1人入选国家博新计划。主持研制的隐藏爆炸物气相探测仪和毒品气相探测仪实现了工业生产。
