蒋昌忠,,男,汉族,湖北省公安县人,1962年5月生,研究生学历,理学博士学位,1983年9月加入中国共产党,1983年7月参加工作,教授、博士生导师。现任湖南省教育厅党组书记、湖南省委教育工委书记、厅长。
