王永强,理学博士,西北大学教授,博士生导师。1997年6月获兰州大学应用化学专业学士学位;2000年6月获兰州大学有机化学硕士学位(导师:李裕林教授,李卫东教授);2003年6月获兰州大学有机化学院博士学位(导师:李卫东教授);2003–2005香港科技大学研究助理(导师:戴伟民教授);2005–2007美国Brandeis University博士后(导师:Prof. Li Deng );2007–2009中山大学化学与化学工程学院副教授;2009–现在 西北大学化学与材料科学学院教授。2010年入选“教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划”,2011年入选“陕西省百人计划”。先后主持三项国家自然科学基金;一项陕西省教育厅自然科学基金;一项中国科学院天然产物有机合成化学重点实验室研究基金。作为学术骨干参与多项国家、省部级项目。近年来在国际顶尖专业期刊J. Am. Chem. Soc.,Organic Lett.,J. Org. Chem.等上发表多篇学术论文,论文引用次数已达600余次。
主要从事高活性的天然产物分子的全合成,不对称催化有机反应方法学,新药及功能分子的设计与合成方面的研究工作。
