房新强,男,理学博士,中国科学院福建物质结构研究所研究员、课题组长、博士生导师。2005年硕士毕业于中国科学技术大学(指导教师:刘有成院士),2009年博士毕业于中国科学院上海有机化学研究所(指导教师:李超忠研究员);2009-2011年在新加坡南洋理工大学从事博士后研究;2011年至2013年,在美国康奈尔大学和德州农工大学从事博士后研究工作。至今已在Journal of The American Chemical Society、Angewandte Chemie International Edition、Chemical Science、Organic Letters等杂志上发表论文二十多篇。2013年9月以“海西院百人计划”高层次人才引进到中国科学院福建物质结构研究所工作,任研究员,课题组长。2015年入选第十一批“##计划”青年人才 ,同年入选福建省百人计划。
研究方向:有机化学-有机合成-不对称催化,尤其是有机小分子催化、新型催化剂和配体的设计合成及其应用、药物活性分子的合成
